Thanks to your support, Tanya had help of a nanny during medical examinations and treatment

Tanya (12 y.o.) lives in an orphanage in a remote republic Khakassia. Due to a congenital abnormality of the spine, the girl developed a hump with a weeping bedsore. Tanya's condition required urgent medical intervention. Kids with a diagnosis like Tanya's are usually operated on in infancy or even earlier as an unborn child. Tanya was unlucky. 2018, our foundation “Road of Life” brought Tanya to Moscow for treatment. The girl stayed with us for almost 3years. Tanya underwent three operations and was fully examined according to the Spina Bifida program of foundation Rusfond.

Doctors then discussed the possibility of surgical treatment of the hump that Tanya had formed due to lying in bed for a long time, but such an operation was postponed for some time.

Recently Tanya came again to Moscow to continue her treatment. All the time during treatment and rehabilitation there will be a caring nanny next to Tanya, who will accompany her to medical checkups and stay with her during treatment in the hospital. The nanny will help and support her as long as the girl will need it.
