A few years ago, he had a gastrostomy tube placed in his stomach, through which food goes directly into his stomach. Amir can eat some soft food through his mouth, but the basis of his diet is medical food, which he receives through the gastrostomy. Thanks to this nutrition, Amir can get the necessary substances and vitamins, gain weight and gain strength for his favorite activities.
