Muhammad is 8 months old, he is the fourth child in the family. His mother's first three pregnancies were easy, but the fourth one was accompanied by severe toxicosis, anemia and even a threat of abortion. The baby was born on time, but weak, on the 5th day of life was discharged, and then congenital heart defect was detected. The full diagnosis is very long, the point is that the heart defect is complex.
The parents went to the Bakulev Center in Moscow and incurred almost all the expenses themselves. The doctors gathered a consilium to determine how to operate on the child with the least risks. Fortunately, the heart defect was eliminated, but the boy's condition requires a long recovery.
Now little Muhammad receives nutrition through a gastrostomy, the introduction of nutrition is quite slow, so the baby does not gain weight well.
The child is in RDKB, where he was transferred from Bakulev. And there are not enough funds for one more stage of treatment, after which the boy, we hope, will be able to go home and live a full, healthy life.
