Abu-Mahmad is now 9 years old, has cerebral palsy and has been struggling with his disabilities since birth. He spent the first days of his life in intensive care due to oxygen deficiency. But thanks to numerous rehabilitations and eye surgeries, he is now able to eat, stand up, walk and even carefully walk down the stairs on his own, whereas before he was literally carried in the arms of his relatives. Abu-Mahmad cannot see anything yet, but he has light sensations. He speaks his native language, but also understands Russian, listens to music, sings songs and learns poetry. The parents are very happy about such successful progress and thank everyone who has helped in any way possible. Your generosity and responsiveness made it possible for Abu-Mahmad to undergo another necessary rehabilitation outside the republic. We heartily thank everyone who took part in this collection!
