Despite all the trials, Damir remains a sociable, cheerful child, loves to sing and dance. For 9 years of his life, the boy has undergone more than 20 operations: from gallbladder removal, adhesions in the intestine, to the installation of stomas, without which he cannot live yet. Most of the day he lies hooked up to drips for 18 hours a day.
Damir has multiple congenital malformations, short bowel syndrome, and caudal regression syndrome. Because of these pathologies, his condition is constantly changing: from good, when he runs and laughs like all children, to severe - with bouts of pain, fever up to 40 degrees Celsius.
Damir was born in Abkhazia, but now lives in Moscow with his grandmother. She supports Damir with all her strength, but she cannot cope alone. Treatment for Damir, as for a foreigner, is only paid. Now the boy's condition has sharply deteriorated. Damir needs urgent examination and treatment.
Let us together help Damir to cope with all the trials!
