Thanks to your help, Aisha recently received the help she needed to improve her vision. The doctors performed laser transscleral cyclocoagulation. Although the results will be seen later, the girl's family is already immensely grateful to every indifferent person who took part in the fate of their daughter.
The remaining funds were used to perform an operation for Mira. The girl underwent a surgery using the sparing chemodenervation technology, which is not included in the OMC. Mira was born prematurely and healthy, but at the age of two and a half months she suddenly cried out in her sleep and began to suffocate. That day divided Mira and her family's life into a before and after.
The baby was hospitalised in an emergency. For a long time the cause of the incident was unclear and only three weeks later they were able to make a diagnosis - spontaneous non-traumatic haemorrhage, which affected the eye area. At first, the doctors' prognosis was positive, but over time it became clear that it was impossible to fully recover and equalise in development with her peers, despite all the efforts of her parents. At the age of 2, Mira was given a disability under the diagnosis of ‘dtsp’. Mira's eyesight has been severely affected by the consequences of haemorrhage and requires long-term treatment.
Thank you, kind tubers, for your help!
You are truly changing lives for the better!
