Esmira is 5 years old and is recovering from a complex brain surgery and long-term treatment. The consequences were very serious: Esmira can hardly see and walks with support. She needs regular rehabilitation courses to learn to walk independently and to overcome her fear.
"Together with her little brother, Esmira likes to collect a constructor. My daughter is very sociable. When she hears a child's voice nearby, she starts pulling forward her hands, asking me to help her come closer. Of course, our whole family dreams that our girl learnt to walk without holding on to a hand or a wall. To be able to walk down the street and play with other children," says Esmira's mother.
