Every day at the shelter is like the work of a large anthill. 250 animals live here, from small kittens who are quarantined to find homes to special disabled dogs for whom the shelter has become home. Street cats and dogs are brought here daily for sterilization, and emergency help is sought to rescue critically ill animals.
To treat the animals, the shelter needs medications such as Cefotaxime, Cladaxa and Marfloxin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic used after sterilizations or other surgical interventions. The drug "Kanigest" is necessary for animals with gastrointestinal disorders, it contains useful bacteria that help cats and dogs to establish the digestive process. The drug "Lacto-Stop" helps street cats to stop lactation if their kittens have died, which, unfortunately, is not uncommon on the street.
The shelter's veterinarians sometimes work around the clock to ensure that each animal receives quality treatment and care.
