Sofia underwent a rehabilitation course

Rovnova Sofia is 12 years old. She has cerebral palsy (cerebral palsy). Sofia cannot walk on her own yet, she needs improvised means and adult support to move around. A year ago, Sofia underwent neurosurgical surgery: CP (selective dorsal rhizotomy) on her spinal cord to remove spasticity from her legs. Thanks to this operation, Sofia has a chance to live a full life and walk on her own. But for this it is necessary to work and practice for a long time with specialists at the medical center. Sofia is in the third grade of a regular secondary school. Prefers English and Russian languages. In her free time, Sofia loves to sing very much. She remembers songs in different languages by ear. Sofia is a very sociable and friendly girl. Like all girls her age, she likes to keep secrets with her friends. And Sofia also believes that she will definitely run at recess with friends and dance.
