Thanks to your help, Alikhan had an MRI diagnosis. Just recently, the boy finished a long treatment for a brain tumour. It was very important to see the results of the therapy.

Alikhan needs to undergo a check-up to keep the disease under control

Alikhan has had a complex operation to remove a brain tumour and 30 fractions of proton therapy. In order to assess the effectiveness of the treatment, Alikhan needs to undergo a magnetic resonance tomography examination.

The boy fell ill in December last year. He developed nausea, vomiting, weakness in legs. After examination, the child was found to have a malignant brain tumour. At home, in Kyrgyzstan, the doctors could not help and sent the child for urgent surgery in Russia to more experienced doctors. The operation was successfully performed at the Burdenko Medical Centre, and Alikhan continued further treatment in St. Petersburg.

It is important for little Alikhan to undergo the necessary diagnostics as soon as possible. This will allow doctors to keep the disease under control, not to miss a possible relapse.

For Alikhan, as a foreigner, treatment and examinations are paid only. The family has no money left, so we appeal to you for help!
