7-year-old Davyd's kidney problems started before he was born. Ekaterina knew that her son would live on a donor kidney. She did not hesitate to give her own kidney when Davyd was three years old. The transplant was successful and permanent dialysis was forgotten. All that was left was to keep an eye on the donor organ and take blood tests every three months.

Lately, doctors began to note the deterioration of the tests. It was necessary to undergo an expensive large-scale examination to exclude the risks of rejection of the organ and prolong its function. And thanks to you, studies, tests and biopsies were able to be done in a timely manner.

“So far, part of the results have been received, and I am glad that everything is normal with the transplanted kidney. There is no evidence of rejection. Therapy will probably be adjusted when all the results and screenings are ready. I thank everyone who has helped our family. If it were not for your help, we would not have been able to go to such an important and long-awaited examination", - Ekaterina shares.
