In Vanya and Sasha, hydrocephalus is a condition in which an excessive amount of fluid accumulates in the brain, which leads to deformation of the skull. The twins are forced to wear special helmets that will help the boys develop a normal head shape.
Sasha and Vanya have been wearing helmets for a year, without them the deformation did not go away, the brain could not develop properly and the kids suffered headaches. Parents note a positive trend after their use. But children at their age (now kids are 1 year and 7 months old) are growing fast – helmets have become small.
Despite their condition, Sasha and Vanya continue to please their parents with their curiosity, the ability to crawl and play. Thanks to the assistance provided in the form of new orthopedic helmets, the boys will be able to continue their development and explore the world with joy.
