All last week veterinarians of the Penza Foundation spent in the town of Novotroitsk, which is located next to flooded Orsk, where a shelter for rescued domestic and homeless animals was spontaneously organized. Dozens of concerned citizens rescued cats and dogs from water, roofs and closed areas by boat, and we provided them with veterinary care: treatment, examinations, drops, and even blood transfusions in the field.
During this difficult week more than several hundred animals passed through the hands of veterinarians, fortunately, many of them went home every day, because their owners found them, coming to the shelter with tears of hope in their eyes. Mutual aid was the main force that helped both people and animals to cope with the consequences of the flood. And now we will be grateful for help in purchasing a new veterinary tonometer, because, as it turned out, it is simply impossible to make mass rounds and diagnostics with one existing one.
Special tonometer for animals is an indispensable tool in veterinary medicine, because it allows you to determine the blood pressure in animals. This is important for diagnosing hypertension, hypotension, heart disease and other pathologies related to the work of the cardiovascular system in animals. Accurate measurement of blood pressure allows the veterinarian to more accurately determine the state of health of the animal, prescribe appropriate treatment and monitor its effectiveness.
Слава Богу 🙏
Здоровья животным и спасибо за ваш труд!🙏
