The “Old Age in Joy” charity foundation helps elderly people and people with disabilities who live at home and need outside help to maintain independence for as long as possible and avoid everyday falls and injuries. We try to purchase everything necessary to adapt an apartment or house to the restrictions that age and illness bring to the lives of our clients: we pay for handrails, ladders and steps for the bath, special stools and chairs for the bath, comfortable bedside tables, toilet chairs, ramps. Tatyana Pavlovna, living in the Kursk region, is 71 years old. Before retirement, she worked at the House of Consumer Goods as a merchandiser. Now she has a second group disability due to heart problems and sore joints. There are few pages of warmth and care in the difficult destinies of our charges. We are unable to restore their health, family joys, or youth.
