Zhiger was born "fragile" when in his native Kazakhstan such children have not yet been helped. At nine months, the boy was diagnosed with "osteogenesis imperfectа", but for his mother it was very hard to find a way to help his son become stronger. Several times she brought her son to doctors in Russia and even in China, but most of the time in Kazakhstan still had to spend without treatment and rehabilitation.
Now Zhiger is 11 years old, and during his life he managed to "break" about 270 times. Because of numerous fractures, the bones of his arms, legs, chest and spine have severely deformed. In spring of this year, hospitals in Nur-Sultan started to treat "fragile" people, and now Giger is receiving the necessary treatment in his native country, and he is helped to become more mobile and active by specialists of the "Mobile Rehabilitation Service" project of the "Fragile People" Foundation.
Despite his fragility, Zhiger is very strong and purposeful. He follows all the recommendations of physical therapists and does the necessary exercises every day. These efforts will definitely lead to the fact that Zhiger will become stronger and more mobile, but for now he cannot not only walk, but also control the stroller with his hands. He really needs an electric stroller because now it is the only opportunity for an eleven-year-old boy to move around without the help of his mom and dad.
Such a stroller is very expensive - 419,405 rubles, and the boy's parents do not have such money. Mom takes care of her "fragile" son, and daddy has to work to feed the family, even though he is already retired for health reasons. Support Zhiger and his family! Give the "fragile" boy freedom of movement!
