A course of classes with speech therapists, surdologists and psychologists helped the girl to improve her hearing skills. Four-year-old Rayana has had no hearing since birth. A year ago she underwent cochlear implantation in her right ear. With the restoration of her hearing, the girl began to babble and make her first sounds, which she has not yet been able to combine into words. In order for Rayana to learn to speak and understand speech, she needs a course of auditory-verbal rehabilitation in a specialized center. And such a two-week complex of classes took place thanks to your support. "Rehabilitation was going on intensively. My daughter attended all the classes with pleasure, tried to speak, but it didn't work. Since Rayana has a cochlear implant in only one ear, and the second ear has a poor quality hearing aid, her daughter's hearing is poor, she cannot react clearly and quickly to a sound or a question from a teacher. That is why the specialists decided to teach the child speech through dactel, i.e. sign language. Rayana has learned to communicate well and has expanded her vocabulary a little.
