Nuriyat found out about the disease by accident. At first she got a strange rash. Nuriyat did not think that something serious had happened, but she went to a dermatologist just in case. The doctor suspected something wrong and sent her for medical examination. Nuriyat took a blood test. When the results came back, she was immediately sent to the hospital for additional examination.

In the hospital Nuriyat was diagnosed with blood cancer, acute promyelocytic leukemia. She needs a special drug to cope with the disease. It is not possible to get it for free, she has to pay a large sum of money for the medicine.
