So beautiful and happy, Ksenia Zueva and her daughter Sophia were discharged from the maternity hospital and went home to the Tomsk region.

Ksenia dreamed of having a child for more than 7 years, and now the long-awaited event happened – pregnancy occurred. At the second screening, the child was diagnosed with a developmental defect – hydronephrosis. This is a disease accompanied by the accumulation of excess fluid in the kidney. After birth, children with this diagnosis may require emergency surgery to save life and maintain health. That is why it is very important that the birth takes place in Moscow in a perinatal center, where there are all the necessary resources to provide such assistance. Ksenia came to Moscow from the city of Asino, Tomsk region. She is an orphan; Ksenia’s mother and father passed away when she was little. Ksenia was raised by her grandmother. Ksenia was forced to leave her job due to pregnancy, and the child’s father is now not helping Ksenia financially. The Light in Hands Charitable Foundation provided Ksenia with accommodation in Moscow in the Baby House project.
