Yaroslav was born at a very early stage - at 22 weeks, with an extremely low weight - 650 g. The baby could not breathe on his own, so immediately after birth he was connected to an artificial lung ventilation. During that year the boy underwent about 15 operations, cardiac arrest, countless blood transfusions, anesthesia, sepsis, pneumonia and much more.
Now Yaroslav is 7 years old. He has cerebral palsy, shunt-dependent hydrocephalus, mental retardation and many other diagnoses. The boy had a shunt installed in his head, but, unfortunately, it did not take root, so Yaroslav underwent 10 more operations, this time on his head.
All the difficulties the boy endured greatly affected his skills. Yaroslav does not speak, cannot walk and cannot even sit or stand on his own. His parents do everything possible to ensure that their son could undergo the necessary rehabilitation, but Yaroslav’s condition should be maintained and his skills developed also at home. For this purpose the boy needs a walking frame, which will help him stay upright and develop walking skills. Let's help Yaroslav and all together raise the required amount!
