Yegor was born healthy and active, but at the age of two he contracted a meningococcal infection. This disease can lead to serious complications. Yegor began to have sepsis - blood poisoning, which caused the formation of blood clots in the vessels of the arms and legs and gangrene.
Doctors fought for Egor's life for a long time.
Due to the infection, necrotic lesions appeared on the boy's entire body, his legs and fingers were especially badly affected. As a result, Yegor "lost" his legs to the level of the upper third of his shins, and then partially his fingers.
Every year, thanks to foundations, his family's own funds and the support of caring people, Egor was able to update his prostheses to match his age and height. Now the boy leads an active lifestyle - he studies in the 5th grade, goes to physical education, climbs the stairs on his own, rides a scooter.
At the moment, the child needs early replacement of prosthetic legs due to their wear and tear.
Egor needs to make modular prostheses. They withstand high load, have a springy effect when walking, which is more physiological for the knees and spine.
Let's all together help Egor walk confidently and live a full life!
