Many disabled children in our care have special needs for specialized nutrition, since they cannot receive the necessary substances, microelements, and vitamins from regular food in sufficient quantities. To compensate for their deficiency, doctors prescribe nutritional mixtures for children; for many they are as important as medicine. For some of our clients, only a certain type of nutrition is suitable. Most often, such children are low weight and intolerant to many foods. It is for such patients that highly specialized types of nutrition have been developed, which are quite expensive and often do not fit into the budget of the families of our patients.
