For many years an elderly guardian has been working in the Optina Desert monastery, feeding and treating all the cats newly arrived on the territory. At the end of November last year she was on her way to Moscow, and on her way to the bus she saw a kitten lying on the edge of the path. She immediately picked it up and brought it to the Moscow Murlyki shelter.
In Moscow it turned out that the kitten had big problems - she was breathing very hard. It turned out that the baby had an abscess in the lung and a large accumulation of fluid. The girl was named Mona and left in intensive care in the hospital, the prognosis was disappointing.
The whole period of uncertainty lasted several months: the baby was treated and monitored by veterinarians. Now the abscess has healed, the bullae are almost gone, but there are still scars and residual effects in the lungs after such a serious and extensive lesion.
During this time Mona has grown up, and she is scheduled for a necessary sterilization surgery, as she will not be able to bear kittens, and before it should be examined to make sure that the cat is fully recovered after a long illness.
Let's help Mona to pass the examination and make the operation!
