The Logunov family has five children. When their eldest blood son turned seven, his parents adopted Rita and Lisa, two little girls. And they have been together for 13 years now. During this time, two more children were born in the family. The children in the Logunov family are very friendly – the older ones help each other and take care of the younger ones, and the younger ones try to imitate them in everything. To achieve such an atmosphere in the house is a difficult, daily task.
Foster parents face many difficulties and problems and need constant support. The Logunov family is a member of the Foster Families Club, a program of the Arithmetic of Good Foundation. In the Club, foster parents receive professional help from psychologists, lawyers and other specialists, work with difficult child behavior and learn about methods of helping a child, learn to mitigate the adaptation of a foster child and family, share experiences with other foster parents in a trusting, safe environment. The Foster Families Club promotes the prevention of secondary orphanhood (abandonment of adopted children by foster parents or guardians), helping to solve all difficulties in the way of families.
