Aimana has finished one more course of chemotherapy

Aimana is a young and very brave girl who celebrated her second birthday just this spring. She is a cheerful child who explores the world around her with interest, loves animal toys and pictures. In October 2023, the child's health rapidly declined: she would often have a headache and started experiencing nausea. The girl became sluggish and moody, and also lost her appetite. Aimana's parents decided to go to the hospital, where the girl got a CT scan. This examination revealed that Aimana’s poor health was caused by hydrocephalus and a brain tumor. First of all, Aimana had a special shunt installed, which helped normalize the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid. After that, she received surgery to remove the tumor and install an Ommaya reservoir, a special device that allows medication to be injected directly into the ventricles of the patient's brain to maximize treatment efficiency. The next step of treatment was chemotherapy. Previously, compassionate users of the Tooba platform helped raise the money for one of Aimana’s chemotherapy rounds. However, now she needs our help to fund another one.
