Little Asyiat was born in the Dagestan family ,when Ramazan and Saiganat Alisultanovs already had two babies.
Even during pregnancy, doctors warned her mother about the girl's deformed arms and legs and, seemingly, broken femur. However, the doctor did not confirm this information after birth. The baby was discharged with the diagnosis of "chondrodysplasia".
At home, everyone was happy to surprise this lovely girl with prepared gifts. Unfortunately, after a few weeks, she broke her arm. The X-ray showed that there are a few more bones, which are almost fused. Soon, doctors diagnosed the girl with "imperfect osteogenesis of type III". The girl turned out to be fragile, or as they call it "crystal".
When she was 5, her parents found doctors specializing in this rare disease. Baby Asiyat began to receive treatment with bisphosphonates - drugs that strengthen the bones. The treatment was paid for on their own. The effect was immediately noticeable; Asiyat became stronger, and she learned to hold her head.
Now Asiyat is growing. Hopefully, she will make her first steps very soon. But Asiyat's legs are strongly curved, and bones are very fragile. It means that the baby will not be able to stand on her legs - they can't stand the weight of the body. To correct the curvature and strengthen her bones, she needs an operation to install telescopic pins.
The operation is high-priced. There are three children in the family, and the only dad can work - mom needs to take care of her "fragile" daughter all the time.
Support Asiyat and her family! Help the "fragile" girl to stand on her feet and take her first independent steps!
