But after the surgery, Majid encountered a complication - a graft versus host reaction. The donor cells perceived Majid's bone marrow cells as hostile and attacked them. Because of the complication, Majid's lungs are severely affected and he has difficulty breathing. Majid needs respiratory support with an oxygen concentrator to cope with his respiratory failure. The necessary device costs a prohibitive amount of money for the young man. All the family's savings were spent on the previous treatment, and Majid is unemployed due to his illness.
