Recently Dasha turned 10 y.o. She ended up in an orphanage when she was four years old.
Over time, Dasha’s voice began to disappear. She could barely speak in a whisper. In addition, the doctors were concerned about her constrained movements. Therefore, she came to Moscow for medical examination. The girl has been staying with us for more than a year now.
Doctors found out that Dasha has an abnormal larynx structure. Unfortunately, the problem cannot be eliminated surgically. But she underwent ENT surgery. There is also an assumption that the reason for the stiffness in Dasha’s movements is a neuromuscular disease. The results of the genetic analysis turned out to be negative, so the doctors still look for a way to help Dasha.
The girl attends courses with a phoniatrist and it helps her much. Her voice sounds now much louder and more confident.
So that Dasha doesn’t stay alone during treatment and medical checkups, her caring nanny is always close to her and helps Dasha in everything.
