Thanks to your help Khadija was able to travel to St. Petersburg for a routine check-up and heart treatment

Khadija is 7 years old and since birth she has been struggling with serious medical problems, including a heart defect, cystic adenomatous lung defect and other complications. The girl experiences shortness of breath on physical exertion, rapid fatigue and suffers from a funnel chest deformity. She also has a valgus deformity of the left foot. Her family of nine is poor and all their income goes towards expensive treatment. Your support allowed Khadija and her family to cover the costs of travelling, accommodation and food during her stay in St. Petersburg. This enabled the child to receive expert medical care and increase her chances for a healthy future.
