Friends, the other day we closed a collection for Amina to pay for her rehabilitation course. But that collection did not include the additional living expenses that her family needs. Amina has been battling a serious condition - Spina Bifida in her lumbar spine - since birth. Her life is filled with surgeries and rehabilitation. The child cannot sit, walk, or hold a standing posture on her own. She is dependent on a wheelchair and support for standing. Her little body endures pain, restricted movement, and frequent attacks of pyelonephritis. Rehabilitation of a child with such complex diagnoses as Amina's requires a large financial outlay, which includes not only the cost of the course, but also accommodation and food in another city - Sevastopol. At the moment, the girl's family is unable to cope with the upcoming expenses on their own. Besides Amina, her parents are raising five other children. They really need our support.
