7-year-old Sasha Ishchenko from Essentuki is learning new words: "good", "help", "happiness". Thanks to support of 674 users of Tooba, the boy has completed a speech rehabilitation course and will go to school this autumn.
Sasha has hearing loss, bordering on deafness. The child had his hearing restored only two years ago. Since then, he has faced an important task - to learn to understand speech and speak in expanded sentences.
With help of caring people, we managed to pay for Sasha's rehabilitation at the “Logoped-Profi” center. There the boy met real professionals, sensitive and understanding. Teachers helped to identify his weak points - where he lags behind, and what needs to be corrected in his educational process. They also prepared about 200 individual tasks for Sasha to work at home. And thanks to a computer program - a unique development of the center - Sasha will be able to study "like an adult."
The boy and his mother were very pleased with the trip itself and its results. In September Sasha will go to the first grade of a special school - he is ready now. “Thank you for helping my son to adapt in our society of hearing and speaking people, it is his only wish! Every child deserves to be healthy! ”- Sasha's mother writes.
