Mark has cystic fibrosis. This is a genetic disease that causes excessive formation of thick phlegm in the lungs.
Mark is very sociable, loves to learn, he likes going to school. But contacts with other people for him often turn into complications and hospitalization. Infections, which are not dangerous for a healthy child, quickly settle in Mark's sputum-filled lungs, cause a painful cough and provoke an exacerbation of the disease. It then becomes difficult for Mark to breathe.
The most effective way for cystic fibrosis patients to clear their lungs is inhalation with a sputum-lowering drug: after that Mark is able to cough it up. After that you can continue taking antibiotics - in clean lungs they work effectively and kill all infections.
But the medicine Mark needs is not given, and the inhalers fail from frequent use. His mother is raising her son alone and cannot cope with buying medicines and medical equipment.
Let's help Mark, so that the treatment helps and the boy gets sick less often and goes to school more often than to hospitals.
Марку здоровья и чистых лёгких! 🙏
