Our grandparents from Buryatia need firewood. The price of a car of chopped wood is about the same as a pension. And for the winter season in Buryatia you need at least two cars. If the house is more spacious - not one room and a kitchen, but, for example, two rooms, or an old roof, and dilapidated windows (and this is the case for every first person) - and you can’t get by with two cars... It turns out that an elderly person owes 2-3 pensions a year “put aside” for firewood; for many this is impossible.
Elderly people and people with disabilities buy waste and cuttings of boards from factories and construction sites, and walk around the house in coats and felt boots. And they still freeze.
There are few pages of warmth and care in the difficult destinies of our charges. We are unable to restore their health, family joys, or youth. But you can warm them - and your hearts too. Stretching out their palms to the hot stove, older people and those whose health has failed will remember you.
Using the funds raised, we will bring a supply of firewood to 25 houses in the Ivolginsky district of the Republic of Buryatia.
