Zhailin was born prematurely, which is why, in the second month of life, doctors established the development of retinopathy of prematurity of the fifth degree.
Zhailin has already undergone five surgeries, and is now preparing for the next one. The result of the past operations was the reaction of Zhailin to bright light. The upcoming operation should stop the pathological processes, prevent the destruction of the eye and, perhaps, even help to straighten the retina.
