Kolia continues his treatment

Kolya is a very unusual little boy with a rare complex genetic condition. His parents were eagerly awaiting his birth, but unfortunately, they were unable to take on the responsibility of raising him. As a result, he was left alone. Kolya is currently in Moscow for long-term treatment and rehabilitation. He came here after the doctors from the "Road of Life" foundation saw him in Sochi and decided that he needed medical assistance. Kolya has already come a long way. While his world was once limited to a hospital bed, he now knows how to stand with support, sit, and play with toys. Doctors say that the boy's potential increases with each month of treatment. By Kolya's side in the hospital is a nanny from the foundation. She helps him with everything—bathing, changing clothes, drawing, playing, reading books, taking him to procedures, comforting him, and putting him to sleep.
