Semyon took a genetic test, and everyone's waiting for the results.

Semyon is now 7 years old, he is a very smart boy for his age: he loves the world of numbers, does English, mental arithmetic and dreams of going to school. But at the age of 4 he was diagnosed with autism. In general, Semyon developed well, there were problems with speech, but thanks to a strong teacher in a private kindergarten, he was able to establish speech, progress in development. But, unfortunately, the diagnosis progresses with age. It manifests itself in strange behavior, fears and anxiety, stereotypy, self-aggression. Semyon is very afraid of doing something wrong: he starts to worry, shrink and tiptoe. In case of severe stress, such as blood donation, he goes limp and his speech becomes slurred. Semyon undergoes rehabilitation a couple of times a year - he goes to specialists for massages, physical therapy, visits a speech therapist-defectologist, psychologist. His older brother Saveliy has the same health problems, but more serious. At present, a geneticist has ordered a genetic study: complete genome sequencing, which will help to identify the cause of Semyon's disease, whether it is hereditary and genetic in nature, in order to further find the right approach, possibly treatment to avoid recurrence of the disease.
