From birth, Mira had no visible health problems: she developed according to her age and even started talking early. But at the age of two, her gait began to deteriorate, she often became tired, avoided stairs and curbs, and often asked to be held. Doctors did not notice anything unusual. So Mira continued to go to kindergarten and enjoy life. When she was three years old, her parents noticed that her gait became even worse. They decided to have her examined.
MRI showed that Miroslava had a large tumor in the brain. The girl was immediately hospitalized, and a couple of weeks later she underwent surgery. Mira had the tumor removed and a shunt was installed. After the operation the girl was in a difficult condition, and two months later there was a relapse - the shunt stopped working, Mira was again hospitalized. There the little girl underwent five more brain surgeries. During all these months Mira did not walk and almost did not sit up.
After all the surgeries and discharge, Mira started to learn to walk again. Mira also has emotional, volitional and behavioral disorders. The child needs rehabilitation. Mira has already undergone a rehabilitation course in the rehabilitation center “Russkoe Pole”. Currently, an individual rehabilitation program has been drawn up for Miroslava at the Clinic of Neurology in Perm, where competent doctors with experience in children's rehabilitation will help Miroslava to restore her lost skills.
