Little Husen was born prematurely at 30 weeks, weighing only 1465 grams. At 3 months old, his parents noticed that the child was not following objects, and at 6 months old, doctors diagnosed him with retinopathy of prematurity. This is an eye pathology in which the growth of retinal blood vessels is disturbed. Vessels can bleed and due to the strong tension can lead to retinal detachment, which in turn, without timely treatment can end in complete loss of vision.
