Maryam has successfully completed her rehabilitation course!

You may already know Maryam and have supported her in 2023 and this year, but she needs our help again. Maryam was born with a severe form of cerebral palsy and other related conditions. A child like her required special care and attention, but when Maryam was only a year and a half old, her biological mother passed away. Thankfully, Maryam got a second chance at love and care when her adoptive mother, Elena, came into her life and devoted herself to helping her daughter. Elena regularly brings Maryam to rehabilitation sessions at the Galileo Center in Moscow and diligently practices exercises with her at home every day to strengthen the skills they’ve worked so hard to achieve. At one point, it seemed impossible for Maryam to take even a couple of steps. But now, with her mother’s support, she can walk a few meters. Holding her mom’s hand for a short while, Maryam can walk on her own! Alongside her determined fight against her illness, Maryam is also doing her best to succeed in school and practices singing. It’s crucial to keep building on her progress and continue her rehabilitation! We are currently raising funds to make this possible. Please help Maryam feel more freedom in her movements
