Khamzat successfully completed an intensive rehabilitation course in Nazran

Khamzat was born prematurely on 08.06.2016, weighing 1,540 kg, 30 weeks pregnant. Hamzat's condition was very severe due to respiratory failure. He was on the ventilator for 21 days.  At 1 year and 5 months Hamzat was diagnosed with ZPD and ASD. The boy does not speak, he poorly understands spoken language. During his 4.5 years of age, Hamzat and his mother toured various rehabilitation centers. Doctors recommend 3-4 rehabilitation courses a year to reinforce the results and acquire new skills.    Hamzat is currently showing positive dynamics. He now has eye contact and the index finger gesture. However, many skills are not yet available to him. Hamzat has a twin brother who has cerebral palsy and who also needs treatment. The boys' parents have no money to pay for rehabilitation programs. From February 26 to March 7, Astrakhan specialists will run an intensive rehabilitation course in Ava-therapy, adaptive physical training and bioacoustic correction in Ingushetia.
