Thanks to you Elvira had a long-awaited rehabilitation course!

Elvira turned 9 years old in the summer. The girl was born prematurely by caesarean section due to an accident that happened to her mother. At 3 months old, doctors diagnosed Elvira with periventricular leukaemalacia. Since then, her long journey to free movement began. Every three months together with her mum she was treated at the regional hospital, took part in swimming pools, went to massage and LFK. At the age of 10 months the girl was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis. Elvira undergoes constant rehabilitation courses in medical institutions. The last rehabilitation she underwent was at the Adeli-Penza FHC. During the course, Elvira learnt to roll over, sit up without support and took her first steps on a walker. These successes allow her to start the next stage of treatment and give her hope to learn to walk on her own, but for this she needs to continue the lessons. Unfortunately, the family is currently unable to pay for an expensive rehabilitation course for their daughter. Let us together support Elvira on her way to walking confidently!
