Lena underwent a rehabilitation course

Lena is 7 years old. She has cerebral palsy. Lena was an orphan until she was almost 3 years old, so she was raised in a children's home. But the girl was lucky. And for half her life she has had a family in which, in addition to Lena, three blood children are being raised, one of whom has a disability. Foster parents understand the importance of intensive rehabilitation and socialization of a child with special health needs and are therefore actively involved in Lena's health and integration into society. During the time that Lena has been in the family, she has been removed from the palliative care status. This is a huge victory for her parents and for Lena herself! Due to her condition, Lena is not yet able to walk on her own. To develop the skill of independent movement, Lena needs regular rehabilitation courses aimed at achieving motor skills. Thanks to you, Lena was able to undergo a rehabilitation course, where she worked with a speech therapist and a defectologist, as well as received massage and physical therapy.
