Rayana was born much earlier than the due date, and therefore the girl was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity of the 5th degree at the 7th month of life.
Rayana has already undergone several operations aimed at preserving and restoring vision, but since the treatment of this diagnosis is phased, the girl now needs another operation. The upcoming surgery is necessary to prevent eye dystrophy. If it is not carried out, the disease will continue to progress, which can lead to the loss of the eye as an organ.
At the moment, the family does not have the opportunity to pay for the operation for their daughter on their own. Mom doesn't work because she takes care of the child, and dad's income is only enough to cover basic needs.
