When the fidget Said was very young, his arms and legs were constantly in wounds, abrasions and bruises. Mom was very afraid for her son and did not understand why minor injuries, usual for all children, did not heal for so long and hurt a lot.
Said was not immediately diagnosed with epidermolysis bullosa, and for a long time my mother could not come to terms with the fact that it would not be possible to completely cure her son, and the injuries would accompany him all his life.
Now Said is 12 years old. She draws with pleasure, sculpts from plasticine, and also works with a speech therapist in order to communicate freely. He knows how to keep his word, protects his older sisters and loves to win: he recently took first place in a school chess tournament!
As a child, Said constantly cried and screamed in pain, now he endures the treatment of wounds and dressings. He is not afraid of losing, he is not afraid of ridicule and offensive curiosity of others who see his wounds and constantly bandaged hands. Like his mother, Said is afraid that dressings and special creams may run out, which will help him forget about pain for a while and do what he wants.
Every month, Said's mother makes a difficult decision: how to buy everything needed to treat her son and at the same time leave some money for the boy's sisters.
Together, we will be able to help Said and his family raise the amount that will be enough to buy medicines and dressings for 2 months in advance.
Said will be able to play chess and win new victories, and his mother will not worry about where to get money and how to give her son another day without pain.
