Ruslan is 9 years old, he has delayed speech development, a disorder of receptive and expressive speech, general speech underdevelopment, autism spectrum disorder. After a year, the boy wouldn't let anyone near him, stopped speaking and responding to his name, and lost eye contact.
During the intensive course, special testing of incentives and skills was conducted for Ruslan and an individual program was developed. Now the boy's parents will be able to continue their studies at home! Also, during the course, Ruslan became more diligent and involved in classes with a behavioral analyst. He learned to express consent and refusal vocally, and his repertoire of requests expanded. The boy learned to follow instructions connected by associative connection, to compare non-identical stimuli and pictures.
After taking classes in adaptive physical education, Ruslan's coordination of movements and attention improved. The trainer gradually dosed and adjusted the physical activity as needed. The boy mastered and improved his skills in running, jumping, flipping, somersaulting, learned how to throw a ball at a target and pass an obstacle course. Ruslan's self-control improved, and he also gained control over his motor actions.
A specialist in sensory integration worked on improving spatial orientation and mastering the motor capabilities of the boy's body. Ruslan has become more coordinated, agile and dexterous, his large and small motor skills have improved.
