This is Vika, she lives and studies at a boarding school in the village of Shirokiy Buerak, Volsky District, Saratov Region, she is 17 years old.
Vika has an interesting hobby, she is fond of soap making. This is exactly the case when you can get paid for your hobby. Why is this so important? Vika studies according to an adapted school program, which means that she cannot apply for a place in most secondary vocational education institutions. Children from boarding schools have health and developmental disabilities that often force them to choose not those schools where they would be interested in studying or where there are specializations in demand on the labor market, but schools where there are dormitories and groups for such students.
We really want children with special needs to have additional sources of income, because it is very difficult for them to find a job. Help us buy consumables for a soap making workshop so that Vika and other children can gain the skill of working with soap, and after graduation, make souvenirs themselves, selling them.
