There are now 122 dogs in our Vita dog shelter. To our great joy, the oldest and sickest dogs have moved into the new insulated enclosure block.
However, some of our charges will spend this winter in the renovated but old aviaries. To keep them warm, they should be walked more often, hay and straw should be filled in the enclosures, and such “insulation” should be changed regularly. The staff also sprinkle sawdust on the floor of the outdoor enclosures every day. This is necessary to keep the paws of fluffy dogs from freezing. And for the convenience and safety of dogs it is important to regularly clean the roofs of cages and paths from snow.
These are additional tasks that need to be done on a regular basis. And now we are raising funds to pay for someone to do the seasonal work.
Friends, please support our fundraiser! Transfer any amount to keep our dogs warm and cozy in any weather!
