Elina was born very small. Her birth weight was just over a kilogram. The baby was born prematurely and could not breathe on her own. She was connected to a ventilator. Diagnostics at birth revealed that she had intraventricular hemorrhage of the brain and a musculoskeletal disorder.
The girl underwent numerous rehabilitation courses, and also underwent surgery to correct foot deformities and knee joint contractures (flexion-extension restrictions in the knee area) at the Ilizarov National Medical Research Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics. After the surgery, Elina was in a cast for two months. But after they were removed, the girl developed a complication, and Elina was urgently operated on again to remove the spoke.
After the surgeries, Elina needs a special walking apparatus to avoid changes in the installed structures and, of course, so that she can walk independently, without leaning on the wall or holding her hand.
Elina is a little doctor who walks around the house with a children's doctor's suitcase and treats all her loved ones, gives injections and bandages.
Together we can help Elina take a confident and independent step.
