Mustafa underwent a successful operation to treat retinopathy of prematurity at a clinic in St Petersburg. This disease, which often occurs in premature babies, can lead to serious deterioration of vision or its complete loss. The surgery was necessary to prevent irreversible effects and preserve the boy's vision.

Thanks to the kindness of tuberosities, the boy was successfully operated on in both eyes and now Mustafa has a chance to save his sight!

Mustafo has been recommended surgery on the other eye to treat retinopathy of prematurity

Mustafo was born prematurely and his eyes were affected by the dangerous disease ‘retinopathy of prematurity’, which quickly developed to the last stage 5. The treatment of this disease involves staged surgeries. The baby has already undergone several eye surgeries - twice he was operated on in his home country in a neighbouring country, once his family paid for treatment in St. Petersburg.

Recently he had a surgery, which was paid for by kind Tubers! Now the doctors recommended not to delay and to perform the operation on the other eye. Mum and Mustafo are now in St. Petersburg and are appealing to you again for help as they are experiencing financial difficulties and cannot pay for the operation on their own.
