Seventeen-year-old Maxim is struggling with the consequences of a malignant brain tumor discovered just three months after his birth. The disease has left a deep mark, causing complete left-sided hemiplegia, a paralysis of the left side of the body that developed after surgery and an ischemic stroke. Epilepsy, optic nerve atrophy, and a number of other neurological disorders requiring constant medical supervision and complex therapy are added to this. Now Maksim is under the supervision of a whole team of specialists: oncologist, neurologist, epileptologist, psychiatrist. For many years Maksim has been undergoing rehabilitation in his city, attending a day hospital. However, the possibilities of the local clinic were limited, and in 2021 the family decided to travel to the Russian Center “Russkoe Pole” in the Moscow region, where Maxim received a more intensive course of rehabilitation. Experience has shown that specialized programs and modern equipment are necessary to achieve maximum effect. Currently, Maxim has been selected for a rehabilitation program at the Healthy Childhood Center in Yekaterinburg - the “Medium 13 Package” for children with predominant movement pathology. Author's programs of LFC, modern equipment, equipment of the medical center “Zdorovoe Detstvo”, competent doctors with rehabilitation experience, excellent feedback from parents whose children have already been rehabilitated in this center - all this gives us confidence in the effectiveness and positive results of Maxim's rehabilitation.
