RUSSIAN RED CROSS

The All- Russian Public Organization "Russian Red Cross" is the oldest and largest charitable organization in Russia. The RRC has marked its 158th anniversary this year. Since 1934 the RRC has been a full member of the international Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and is the only authorized organization implementing the humanitarian mandate of the Red Cross within the territory of the Russian Federation. Mission: To alleviate and prevent human suffering. Today, the RRC is represented in all constituent entities of the Russian and has over 600 local branches. The RRC provides assistance and support to the most vulnerable categories of the population in difficult life situations such as fragile and low-income families, single elderly people, people with disabilities, refugees, internally displaced persons, as well as people affected by emergency.
